PlayStation State of Play Recap

Die erste Episode zu State of Play wurde nun ausgestrahlt und wir erhielten neue wie auch bekannte Infos zum PS4 Games wie auch PS VR Line-Up. Insgesamt gesehen war die erste Episode ziemlich VR lastig, die großen Blockbuster wurden erste gegen Ende der Episode gezeigt. Fassen wir nun alles kurz die erste Showcase, welche circa 20 Minuten war, zusammen:

Als erstes wurde Marvel Iron Man VR angekündigt. Publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment und Developer Camouflaj wollen das VR Spiel noch 2019 veröffentlichen. Offiziell heißt es zum Titel: "Don the PlayStation VR headset to suit up as the Armored Avenger in an original Iron Man adventure! Using two PlayStation Move motion controllers fire up Iron Man’s Repulsor Jets and blast into the skies with an arsenal of iconic Iron Man weapons at your fingertips. Face off against Iron Man’s greatest foes in high stakes, action-packed battles. Upgrade tech in Tony Stark’s garage to customize Iron Man’s sleek suit and awesome abilities." Ryan Payton (Director Camouflaj) äußerte sich unter anderem wie folgt zum Spiel: "I’m honored to finally introduce Marvel’s Iron Man VR, a game we’ve been building over the past two years with one simple (and daunting) principle: deliver the ultimate Iron Man fantasy game exclusively for PlayStation VR." Danach ging es weiter mit Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled und zwar mit den exklusiven PS4 Goodies. Retro skins werden für Crash, Coco, und Cortex zur Verfügung stehen.Ebenfalls wird es Retro Karts und ein Retro Track geben. Hinzu kommt noch als Pre-Order Bonus ein PlayStation-themed Sticker Pack um sein eigenen Kart zu verschönern. Wer mehr dazu erfahren möchte, kann sich hier den US Blog Post dazu anschauen.

Als nächstes gab eine Ankündigung zum neuen, kostenlosen VR Update für No Man's Sky. Wer mehr zum VR Update erfahren möchte, sollte sich hier den US Blog Post anschauen. Diesen Sommer soll das Update erscheinen.

Als nächstes kam eine Neuankündigung die mich wirklich sehr interessiert hat: ReadySet Heroes, welche einen neuen Spin auf die bekannten Dungeon Crawler liefern soll. Die offizielle Übersicht zum Spiel sieht wie folgt aus: "ReadySet Heroes is a fast-paced multiplayer dungeon crawler that packs a big twist!

Go from zero to HERO in this fast-paced multiplayer dungeon crawler meets EPIC arena brawl! Choose your character, then race through a random dungeon to slay monsters, dodge traps and collect tons of loot to power-up. You’ll need it as there’s an opposing team racing through the same dungeon! Whomever reaches the end of dungeon first will trigger a vicious 'winner-take-all' arena brawl. Two teams enter, one team is left standing.

• Go from Zero to Hero in Minutes – You start with only a wooden sword and must quickly battle through the dungeon, looting & scavenging for stronger armor, more powerful weapons & spells to gain new abilities to take on the fiercest of foes.

Dann haben wir einen neuen Blick auf Blood & Truth VR werfen können. Dieses Mal gab es sogar ein Release Datum: 28.05.2019. So lange ist es gar nicht mehr hin und wer mehr über den exklusiven PS VR Titel erfahren möchte, kann sich hier den US PlayStation Blog Post dazu anschauen.

Danach gab es ein kleines "Highlight Reel" zu weiteren PS VR Titeln:

Dazu gehörten Skyworld, welchem am 26.03.2019 veröffentlicht wird, Falcon Age am 09.04.2019, Ghost Giant 16.04.2019, Table of Tales ebenfalls am 16.04.2019, Jupiter & Mars am 22.04.2019, Everybody’s Golf VR 21.05.2019 in US und Europa, Trover Saves the Universe 31.05.2019, Mini-Mech Mayhem 18.06.2019, Vacation Simulator ebenfalls 18.06.2019, Golem im Frühling 2019, Luna ebenfalls im Frühling 2019. Oberservation wurde im Oktober 2018 angekündigt und wurde auch während des State of Play Showcase erwähnt. Es wurde nicht nur erwähnt, sondern hat ebenfalls ein Release Datum erhalten: 21.05.2019. Offiziell zum Spiel heißt es: "Observation is a sci-fi thriller uncovering what happened to Dr. Emma Fisher, and the crew of her mission, through the lens of the station’s artificial intelligence S.A.M. Players assume the role of S.A.M. by operating the station’s control systems, cameras, and tools to assist Emma in discovering what is happening to the station, the vanished crew, and S.A.M. himself." Dann wurde mit Five Nights at Freddy’s VR: Help Wanted ein weiteres VR Game angekündigt. Das Spiel soll im Frühling 2019 erscheinen und hier könnt ihr euch den US PlayStation Blog Post dazu anschauen.

State of Play wurde dann mir drei Blockbustern beendet. Als erste wurde Concrete Genie hervorgehoben. Leider hat das Spiel aber auch ein Delay erfahren. Erst sollte Concrete Genie im Frühling 2019 erscheinen aber nun wurde es auf den Herbst 2019 geschoben. "Concrete Genie is a game about a bullied teenager named Ash, who escapes his troubles by painting spectacular living landscapes and mischievous creatures throughout his abandoned hometown of Denska. As he masters this magical paint, he discovers it can purify Denska’s polluted walls. Can Ash overcome the bullies and paint his hometown back to life?" Neben einem neuen Story Trailer wurden auch zwei PlayStation VR Modes zum Titel angekündigt. Wer mehr dazu erfahren möchte, kann sich hier den US PlayStation Blog Post anschauen.

Dann gab es einen weiteren Story Trailer zu Days Gone und einen neuen Blick auf das Gameplay. Wer mehr über die verschiedenen Story-Lines des Games wissen möchte, sollte sich unbedingt den US PlayStation Blog Post hier anschauen. Die Hauptstory soll hierbei übrigens circa 30 Stunden betragen.

Und als letztes wurde dann Mortal Kombat 11 ins Rampenlicht gestellt. Hierbei gab es einen neuen Trailer mit wirklich gelungener musikalischen Untermalung. Außerdem wurden Liu Kang, Kung Lao, and Major Jackson “Jax” Briggs als spielbare Charaktere enthüllt. Mehr dazu gibt es hier auf dem US PlayStation Blog Post.
